Comment:
sugar-jhbuild is only intended for people making changes to
[http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Taxonomy#Glucose:_The_base_Sugar_environment
Glucose] on a regular basis ("core development"). For all other purposes
you should use [http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Supported_systems#Sucrose
distribution packages] instead.
Unfortunately, the state of Sugar in Ubuntu is rather sad (Debian is much
better in this respect). Even Browse is
[https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/480407 broken]. You might be able
to pull packages from [https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Sugar Ubuntu Sugar Remix],
though. I suggest to get in touch with them.
In general, questions are better handled on
[http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Mailing_Lists mailing lists], in particular
the [http://lists.sugarlabs.org/listinfo/sugar-devel sugar-devel] list.
