 benzea: I noticed that the two buttons to change what the list shows have
 some problems. Some of these may also be theme problems.

 They have a white text color, but it should be black (probably theme)
 They change their size when the button is toggled
 I do not see a sense in using toggle buttons. I do not understand why
 "Show history" should be OFF and "Show variables" should be ON.
 They are tool buttons, with a very little padding, and small radius in the
 corner.
 I am not sure how they should really look like, CC'ing Eben to see if he
 has some input.
