Comment:

 This is an OS/distro-level limitation; there's nothing Sugar can do about
 it. I recommend to file a ticket on the [http://dev.laptop.org OLPC bug
 tracker] so they can either try to get it fixed upstream or work around it
 somehow, like they need to do with other rotation-related graphics driver
 issues. And for XO-1.5, they're upstream themselves (of the graphics
 driver).
