Comment:

 This problem showed up as an unintended consequence of trying to repaint
 the screen after a sugar frame invocation.  It took me some head
 scratching, and trial and error to connect_after on the toolbar.  Because
 the slideshow icons are on the toolbar, there appears to be a "expose-
 event" occurring.

 I need a flag which specifies which screeen to repaint. It should be an
 easy fix.
