Comment:

 As you indicate, you do see a progress bar for a download in the Journal
 (say you're downloading a horrendously massive activity like Tux Paint),
 but Browse shows 2 pop-up alearts, one as the download starts, and one
 when it completes. Can you provide a little more information on where
 you'd like to see some kind of feedback? Perhaps Browse (or any activity)
 should trigger a frame notification when a dialogue alert is shown and you
 don't have that window focused?
