Comment:

 This sounds like an issue for the hippo package. Someone with ubuntu foos
 who is running sugar-jhbuild might check to 'import hippo' in a sugar
 shell and see if the constants are available or if there is an error
 during build time of the hippo module. Which version of hippo canvas is
 this?

 Btw, there is as well a dbus error hidden in the logs
