Comment(by dsd):

 Knowing who made the upload would be useful to know when the latest
 release on ASLO is newer than the one in git, and the newer release is
 broken whereas the old one works. As a developer trying to fix this
 activity, I'd benefit from seeing the history associated with the new
 release, as well as having someone to question about the particular
 aspects which caused the breakage. Both of these things rely on me being
 able to locate the developer who made the release.
