Comment:

 I'd really give this a +1!

 There are some things to point out, though. We might for example want to
 include the Fedora Remix trademark, as OLPC is doing it in their latest
 801 testing release. The OLPC ticket is here:

 http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Legal:Secondary_trademark_usage_guidelines

 Maybe it would be possible to port something like this to plymouth. The
 point is that this just needs to be done! So we'd need to find somebody
 for that... dunno, if it would be possible until April 7th, though
 (raising priority for that).
