 Automated functionality testing helps catch bugs earlier (giving better
 feedback to developers) and reduces load on testers.
 Adding regression tests for bugs resolved during the 0.86 development
 phase would be a useful starting point.
 Writing tests is tedious work nobody wants to do, so it's not realistic to
 expect someone to come up with a set of tests for all components. Rather
 the load should be spread - that's why I'm proposing to add regression
 tests for newly fixed bugs, as that can be done by those fixing the bugs.

 A test suite will need to be added and that's what this bug is actually
 about (everything else are process decisions and probably do not belong in
 the bug tracker). :)
