Comment:

 Tested with Soas1-20090319 and same desktop.

 4 boots no network, 5th boot (this one) has networking.

 My Settings Network showed the message "org.freedesktop.!NetworkManager
 Service not available" on faulty boots.

 tmpsAn_nu.txt is dmesg.old from no-network boot. tmp8mpRLG.txt is dmesg of
 network=good boot.
