     * add default channel list
     * add ability to join arbitrary channel
     * add connect/disconnect button
     * inconsistent color coding of channel tabs

 Also: The channel chooser, the tabs at the bottom of the screen, it
 doesn't scroll sideways for me (arrow buttons do nothing). This is a
 serious bug.

 Would be nice to get notified when someone calls your name too.
