 I am sure this is a duplicate ticket--my apologies for not tracking down
 the original.

 Sometimes when launching from the Journal, it takes a very long time.
 There is no feedback, which leads to the temptation to click again and
 again, creating multiple instances of the activity.

 Test case:
 (1) download a new version of Turtle Art.
 (2) click on the icon in the Journal to install it.

 On the XO, you need to sit patiently for  minutes before there is evidence
 that the activity is launching.
