 I have booted a toshiba laptop using boot.iso and
 http://download.sugarlabs.org/soas/snapshots/1/Soas-200901271941.iso

 It boots, lets me type a few letters, then the keyboard locks up. I can
 use the mouse but can't type and can't click next

 I'll see if the problem replicates on any other hardware.
