 Latest SoaS (Fedora 10) refuses to startx on nvidia-equipped ethernet
 controller laptop  (also verified that same SoaS works ok on two DELL
 M6300 laptops)

 System comes up ok, but never splashes, terminals are available, only X
 shows as defunct.

 Hint: eventually worked using udev.rules and driver fiddling, but I think
 we need to make the image a tad more robust.

 Laptop: DV2840se HP laptop, a.k.a. "The dreaded Vista-laptops"
