 start sugar-emulator like this:

 sugar-emulator -d 150 -i 1024x600

 open the secondary palette of the XO icon by hovering or right-clicking
 somewhere around the lower left corner of the icon.

 What is happening is that the palette's height is bigger than the
 available screen area, so none of the predefined alignments for AT_CURSOR
 works.

 We need to find a better alignment, but the existing code only works for
 the ANCHORED alignments.
