Comment:

 Interesting video (and your stream of consciousness voice over), thanks
 for posting. If it can be reliably reproduced, there may be something we
 can do (by blocking that specific action/state). All crashes I've seen so
 far have been from Box2D falling over, we've had to prevent the user from
 doing 'stuff' (i.e. small objects make Box2D explode, so the UI prevents
 you from creating small objects) rather than actually being able to fix
 upstream code (OLPCGames, PyGame, and Box2D).
