 Actually I vote for taking Remove Favorite out of the circle view also.

 When I work with a class of young children I want the activities I have
 put on the home to stay on the home. I want them to have a clean, easy to
 navigate experience.

 Older kids and adults can use the list view.

 Another argument. If the user has not yet discovered the list view you
 don't want them to even remove favorites as that "breaks" the activity for
 them.
