 Thanks for following up on this.

 I am a bit unsure how to go on best with your request, and not to loose
 important information. Paint is not part of Sucrose, it has a component on
 dev.laptop.org though. You can try to file this specific bug there.

 Eben, can you comment on the general aspect, the UI guidelines on how to
 avoid such cases?
