 Testing joyride 2573 on an XO. Shutting down from a console works fine,
 but the XO home palette options don't seem to have any effect. I did see
 ticket #11, but that was fixed/closed a week ago (I can't tell if 2573
 included that patch as it's part of compiled blob).
